We’ve Got It All Wrong!!

“I said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High” But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.” (Psalm 82:6-7 (NIV)

When I was a kid, I never really liked playing with jigsaw puzzles. I may have tried the smaller ones but the bigger they got, the further away I stayed from them. Maybe I had a lazy mind but the thought of figuring out how to assemble those oddly shaped interlocking and mosaicked pieces just didn’t appeal to my mind at all.

Typically, each piece has a picture portion; when assembled, they produce a complete picture. But that would be a tricky task for anybody if the manufacturer did not put the complete picture on the box cover as a reference.

I came to realize, life is basically the same! The manufacturer (God) has given us a complete picture (the Bible) to refer to, to live this life. But religion complicated the life ‘picture’ so much that those who are trying to build their lives based on religion, thinking it is God’s way, are confused and frustrated because the promised results are often not manifested.

And the rest of the world, watching how confused these Christians are, consequently choose to stay totally away from it all. Who can blame them? Life is so challenging in itself, why add religion to it and suffer even more?

Religion has nothing to do with God

If you google the definition of the word ‘religion’; you will find many different things that may or may not all mean the same.

Simply put, religion is man’s perception of God and how a worshipper should serve Him, while Christianity is God’s own revelation of Himself to man and how to worship Him.

Religion is man’s invention and only exists in time and space. It has no power to change or alter anything. Christianity on the other end is God’s creation and transcends time and space. It exists both in the realm of time and beyond in the spiritual realm. It is the dimension over the realm of time and space and can change and alter things in our natural or physical realm.

With our minds, we can see things that are invisible in the physical realm

The currency of Christianity is our consciousness or, in other words, our ability to focus our thoughts on what we want to manifest in our physical realm.

Faith (believing) is the first step, but controlling our thoughts and focus is what makes things change. You cannot say you believe in God’s protection over you if your thoughts are constantly on bad things that can happen.

With our minds, we can see things that are invisible in the physical realm. In 2 Corinthians 4:18, we read

“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

This verse is not saying those things do not exist rather that they are invisible in this physical realm but they exist and are visible in the realm of Christianity i. e the realm of “In Christ” or the spirit realm. And we, human beings can very well see them with our spiritual eyes (imagination) because we are also spirit-beings.

We tend to call the physical realm “reality” but according to 2 Corinthians 4:18, we have it all wrong! It is the other way round that is correct. The eternal spirit realm is what is real. It is Reality! The physical realm, which most of us are more aware of and is temporary, is the illusion. It is the alternative we have chosen by our power of focus.

You see, in the realm of the spirit, which is Christianity or reality, there are countless numbers of alternative realities, each different one from another, that you can choose from by your power of focus. (Ephesians 3:20).

That is why All things are possible to those who believe.

I am not talking about changing things in your current reality – in which case it would be by your own might and power. – I am talking about choosing a totally different, parallel reality using your power of faith – believing – and the power of focus. In this latter case, it would be God in you doing the work, not by your might nor by your power but by the Spirit God. (Zechariah 4:6).

The power of focus is your power of controlling your own thoughts rather than letting them run whichever way they please. You must learn to control your thoughts and be the master in charge.

You do this by practicing meditation, contemplation, and communion which is what prayer is for a Christian.

In the meditation phase, you determine what alternative reality you want and determine to focus your thoughts on it.

In the contemplation phase, you now start seeing yourself in that new reality. You become what you desire and dream of. You see it and feel it in your imagination.

In the communion phase, time stops. You have changed realms through your power of consciousness or awareness. You are so immersed in your dreamed imagination that it has become your reality. You are out of space and time and you are in communion with your chosen alternative reality.

This process is called creation (meditation) because it is what will alter your reality. It will cause your current reality to start fading away to give place for newly chosen alternatives to manifest in the physical realm of time and space.

This is the process of asking and receiving. (Mark 11:22-24).

All the alternatives that already exist in your imagination (Ephesians 3:20), are already yours. They already belong to you. (1 Corinthians 3:21-22).

God has already given you everything you could want or desire in Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:20).

The problem is most human beings are carnal and don’t understand spiritual things. (1 Corinthians 2:14) They think reality is this natural realm of space and time. That is why they are stuck in a loop, a vicious cycle that keeps producing the same results because they keep looking at and focusing on the natural temporary things that they can perceive with their natural senses.

Some of them when they hear what I am talking about, they think I am weird and call this “deep stuff” that they cannot relate to.

As a god being (Psalm 82:6), spiritual things should not be strange to you. As long as they remain too deep for you, you will remain stuck in the vicious evil cycle I mentioned earlier and will be estranged from God. You will never be a son of God. Not because God would not accept you as His son but because you are not allowing yourself to rise in that position in your heart and mind, even though you are born-again.

I called the vicious cycle evil because, although it is a reality you have chosen by default through your ignorance of spiritual truths, it is also the only realm where Satan can influence you with his evil. (1 Corinthians 3:18-19; 1 Corinthians 2:2; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 1 Corinthians 2:13-16, Ephesians 2: 2-3).

“In the quantum scale of Eternity, the past, the present, and the future exist all at once”

So you see, we’ve got it all wrong. Reality is eternity and eternity is the now, the right now, it is knowing the Great I AM (John 17:3).

Eternity is not a place, it is a state of mind, it is reality. In Eternity, there is no here and there or now and then (space and time) there is only now and here.

Eternity is the kingdom of God and it is not a realm that exists far away in space and time, it is right here and right now inside of us. (Luke 17:21).

You do not have to die to access it, you just need to become aware of it. You need to become enlightened in the spirit. (Ephesians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 5). The way you enter the Eternity realm is first by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10) then start living your life according to the truths you learn in the Bible. Your experience of eternal life will be directly proportionate to how much you believe and act on what Jesus says. (Philemon 6, 3 John 1:2, Hebrews 10:38)

In the quantum scale of Eternity, the past, the present, and the future exist all at once. That is how you can be crucified with Christ today even though His crucifixion already happened 2000 years ago in this realm of time, and that is also why you can be seated with Christ in heavenly places right now while you also here on earth, two different locations and events in space and time. (Galatians 2:20, Romans 6:4, Ephesians 2:6).

This is the reality for all born-again Christians. But because most are not aware of this, they are stuck in the loop of this realm of space and time, never experiencing the abundant life Jesus promised to those who believe in Him (John 10:10).
